The Healing Waters Foundation improves access to inclusive Aquatic Therapy for individuals with disabilities and complex care needs by providing specialized water-based rehabilitation, education, and community programming that supports healing, dignity, and quality of life across the lifespan.

The Healing Waters Foundation exists to expand equitable access to specialized Aquatic Therapy and water-based wellness programs for individuals with disabilities, complex medical needs, trauma histories, and chronic health conditions across the lifespan.
We provide inclusive, evidence-informed aquatic services that support physical rehabilitation, nervous system regulation, mental health, and quality of life, while also advancing community education, professional training, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Through purpose-built accessible facilities, subsidized programming, trained practitioners, and community partnerships, we work to remove systemic barriers to care and create safe, dignified, and healing aquatic environments where every body is supported to move, heal, and thrive.
We envision a future where every person, regardless of disability, diagnosis, income, age, or trauma history has access to compassionate, high-quality Aquatic Therapy in purpose-built environments designed for safety, accessibility, and dignity.
The Healing Waters Foundation seeks to establish a dedicated Aquatic Therapy Centre in Alberta that serves as a provincial hub for:
We strive to transform how aquatic therapy is delivered and accessed, shifting from scarcity and exclusion to sustainability, equity, and community-centred care so that healing through water becomes a standard, not a privilege.
